Thank you :)

It’s a bit inbetween tramp and Tim Burton prop now

Off to the opera: me.
Years back I gifted an old Moose River to my then girlfriend..... It survived several years of backpacking trips... far from pristine. We have a 50 yr high school reunion coming up this fall.. thinking maybe I should reach out and see if shes still got it lol. Said hat in back 1974... someone going in the pool for their birthday lol

Oh wow, that would be so funny! Maybe you could even recreate said photo and toss someone in the pool!

But in all seriousness - I love how hats are such history-ladden items that can carry memories and meaning!

Would be nice to see more of these backstories to old worn hats :)

Rough day yesterday afternoon.... Mr Moose the Lab was diagnosed with an aggressive tumor on his spleen. He just turned 7 last month. still trying to figure out the options. Have a steak thawing out for tonight. Till we figure things out there will lots of car rides and treats... Threw on an Open Road this morning and were heading out for a ride now... let those ears flap in the wind

Oh no, so sorry to hear that!

Either way, lots of treats and steaks sounds like the right course of action!
Maybe throw in a squirrel or two..

And flappin’ ears in the wind of course!

Aww, man! I empathize. My pit, Jenna, had four mast cell tumors removed a couple weeks ago. She's doing OK right now, even though she looks like she was in a back alley knife fight. She's been house bound since the Fourth.

Getting ready to take her to the doc for a follow-up in about an hour. She's about 11 now, so she's getting up there.

Thinking of you and Mr. Moose this afternoon. Dogs make us better humans. They deserve all our love and caring.

Best wishes Moose and Rick, Eric -

Follow up. Clean bill of health from the surgeon. She's off the DL and able to return to all dog related activities.

Rick, do what you can for your pup. They're worth their weight in gold.
