I have been eyeing this one for a long while. The striation on LW horsehide is just so beautiful. But I have the same feeling as you that it is too much for our small body frame

So it's a pretty old listing? How tall / heavy are you?

I think that out of the smaller loungers, including myself, you likely have the best shot at filling that out, I wouldn’t be too far behind but my local weather would limit me to maybe a couple wears a year if lucky and depending how warm that lining actually is.

Me, alex and tartu are too thin for it, jeo too short and cbez has t-rex arms so he’s out too, it’s just you and maybe that guy that used to go through jackets like underwear but I haven’t seen him around here in awhile other than a random sales listing bump.

And this could be even cheaper with discounts and prior to tariffs kicking in.

Overall I understand that these are meant to be worn over another jacket or at least a vest. Or thicker layering overall.

I'm 5'8 around 130lbs so a bit taller and slimmer. So you definitely have better chances to fill the coat out. But my wife already said she definitely does NOT like it so no go for me. Currently there is a 10% campaign and a nice shipping discount code running by the way.

But yeah 26” length for a single rider would definitely be too long on me, I’m around the same height but I usually go for shorter lengths with most of my jackets in the 21”-23” range.

What’s weird is that the arms are if anything on the short side. Longer style or for a very tall, thin person with T Rex arms?

I ended up getting this jacket. It’s slightly more broken in than I expected but in good shape. However, it’s got some kind of sickly sweet scent coming off the lining and the leather. I’ve tried leaving outside for a day and even a short de-ionizing treatment without a lot of luck so far. Any advice?
