If there is any jacket I like as much or more than leather jackets, it has to be the deck/winter jacket. Luckily Dublin winters are cold enough for me to wear them all.

Amen, you have quite the collection and you do them great justice, so much character in those Freewheelers fabrics and their cut is top drawer. I have an FW N-1 arriving tomorrow (hopefully) after trying a few different makers, think I've found the right one. I hear you on the Irish winters too, I live on the same island, just further north (and colder still!)

Good choice to go with FW N-1 especially considering there are so many options out there. FW probably make the best quality outerwear not just leather jackets in my opinion. The N-1 should serve you well in the bitter winter up north

I bought a Freewheelers N-1 a few years ago and has been my go to jacket when it gets below 2-3C. Never had any issues, super good in rain too.

Those deck jackets look good.

They are all made of jungle cloth and I have worn them in the Dublin rain, they keep me dry.

Today I'm wearing the early 70's pioneer wear suede trucker that just arrived in the mail.

Aside from being a tad longer in the sleeves than I'd prefer in a jacket without adjustable cuffs, I am quite happy with the fit.

A great late Christmas/ early birthday for me.

There was a nice surprise too with this original pamphlet stored safely in the pocket.

I don't know if I can say this jacket was made in 1973, but early to mid 70's is a good estimation I suppose.

Thank you! The grain and haptic of Connolly leather reminds me of some kind of Leather Aero used in end of 90's / early 00´s. If I remember correctly it was a black Steerhide too (or could be a Goatskin as well) with some blue undertone/dye.

Beautiful jacket. I have one on the way, purchased from a TFL member. Taking a chance and praying it fits
