What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

@Monitor, That 613 looks awesome. Hard to top the original. I am gonna have to get another one. I haven't wore my 618hh in quite awhile. I lost a few lbs. and the 48 is kinda big. I am gonna go for a 46 or possibly a 44 this fall/early winter. I think Schott has a "black Friday" sale, but I am not sure.

@JMax, I was never really a CR fan. I might have to start reconsidering. That jacket looks superb.

Thanks, man. It's a good jacket. Does everything just about right.

I’m with you. CRs are not my preference, even though I’ve added a couple recently. This one is really nice. My Bates racing shirt arrives next week (everyone needs a Bates, especially bikers, right?). That’ll be the end of my CR trip. Back to cross zips.

I know perfectos don't get recognized as an actual M/C jacket, but my 618 actually worked pretty well for me on the bike. Very easy to wear and checked MOST(not all) of the boxes. It was my go-to jacket for quite awhile.

@JMax, I am sure I will eventually head down the CR road one day.

Never mind I see. I believe your arms being a little short is a big plus here. It makes all the difference, really an awsome jacket bro

Yes, the forearms are good to go. I need a bit of extra length in the arms for how I ride. It worked out well, you scared me for a second bro.

It is heavier than I thought it would be, around 6.5 lbs. really pumped about this jacket.

Schott 637 steerhide today for a car trip to the coast with the Mrs for breakfast. Very squally day for second of Spring !
Max of 14C today , don't let that temporary blue sky delude you !
Looking south towards Fremantle seeing the empty Japanese and Korean car carriers leaving to the North.
Each having disgorged HUNDREDS of SUV's and Double cab Utilitys ( Utes !) onto the wharf.
Globalisation well that's the go !

I love the Shinki SB used. I had a J-100 cut out of that hide. It's a shame SB stopped stocking it. I keep asking Debs to bring it back!

It is beautiful to look at and it smells great. My wife said, “that’s what leather should smell like”. She then added I should get rid of everything I own and stock up on nice smelling jackets. Won’t happen sweetie, won’t happen.

This Shinki feels more substantial than its actual weight. It doesn’t look or feel anything like the Jelado I had, which was amazing, but it felt, and was, light. Both will break in beautifully.
