Which of Thedi's leathers did you choose for the sleeves here?
Thedi Leathers MTC-C1279405 made from 1942 old military US tent fabric X black hand dyed distressed cowhide leather

Awesome jacket! My cotton cossack arrived, nice thick quite heavy, brushed twill with some soft nap feel, color is olive, on the inside of the cuff there is brown cord with big wales, pocket welt is something like velour / velvet chocolate brown same color with buttons, buttons is also necked stoutly hopefully will not dangling. Same button size everywhere, not backed with small button inside, 2 inside pockets also thick, what visible inside when the the jacket is open is quite neat facing is nice and flat top stitched , around the shoulder and side seam inside is single felled however still quite neat and not visible , slide buckle is a bit oversize for the jacket and simple looking, but quite heavy and seems solid and round so it wont eat away the cotton strap. Neck hole is sized perfectly on my thin neck i hate it when a collared jacket has huge gap to my neck. Patch pockets are too high for hand warmer purpose, but ideal enough to carry things like pocket tissue, ipod, smart phone better be inside mine sticking out there not deep enough unlined but since it is brushed cotton it feel soft probably safe to carry glasses inside. Collar is quite wide probably a bit too big to be worn with standing collar, the other side is also the same fabrics. Sleeve long enough and not too wide appear wider in photo because there is still folding line , i will wet it and warm iron it a bit to get rid of the line
Workmanship is neat no dangling thread, looks a lot nicer than the price and neater than some of my denim jacket.
despite the scare for the body length on the chart this one is paired with low rise pants and still works fine. Im happy with it.

Got my HWm(ayne) back from Dena today with the relocated belts. As usual she did a perfect job. Def more in my wheel house now. Essentially feels like a Sheene/CR with belts (something I always wished Aero would do). My only regret is that I didn’t do this to my premier HWM. I would’ve kept it if I had. I know this will upset the purists (sorry Denny!). But I love my new to me Aero Halfbeltwaymayne:

Yep, it is a zip sleeve HWM, belts moved north by 3”. Really changes the fit profile for the better!^^ So you had Dena move the side adjusters up ~ 3" or so? Looks great to me, like the brown Zip-sleeve HWM here Tony and the front & back yokes are a nice touch.

light weight sheepskin, capeskin. Made in the traditional half-belt style. Perfect for warmer days and cooler evenings.
only a medium so sorta small on me. View attachment 258604 View attachment 258605 View attachment 258606 View attachment 258607 View attachment 258608 View attachment 258609
What is Capeskin anyway a sheep? Sometime they look very wildly grained but this one look smooth, nice discoloration on the back panel looks like steelBarney's New York

This is my all time favorite. It was a zip sleeve highwayman posted by both GriffDeLaGriff as well as mendlboaz:Got my HWm(ayne) back from Dena today with the relocated belts. I had my doubts Tony, but that mod, makes a huge difference. The fit pics look perfect. Well done.
Thanks fellas. I was really pleased with how the simple relocation of the belts improved the fit. I was worried about it too. You never really know how something like this will turn out but I had a good feeling about it after the Goodgal experiment. Love the jacket. Very basic and super easy to wear. If ever there was a throw on everyday leather jacket, for me anyway, this is it.Amazing fit!
