Those Thedi canvas jackets - what thickness is the canvas? Nothing on the website except that the canvas is from military tents.

In contrast to the MTC-127980 Canvas x Leather Jacket, in which the canvas is quite heavy, this tent canvas fabric is lighter and very comfortable to wear... but no idea about oz. Maybe someone who's more in vintage army things can bring some light up...

This is why I am reluctant to buy anything new, ever again. Your jacket reminds me of my Herc. Every time I put it on I realize it's the only jacket I need and it's the coolest one I own. You've got a nice collection of really cool jackets but this one just slays them all. Literally. PERFECT!

This is why I am reluctant to buy anything new, ever again. Your jacket reminds me of my Herc. Every time I put it on I realize it's the only jacket I need and it's the coolest one I own. You've got a nice collection of really cool jackets but this one just slays them all. Literally. PERFECT!

Thanks for the kind words, gents. Sometimes you get something that you really like. This one was quite the gamble for me as the sizing seemed off, but IT feels like IT was worn all those years to end UP on my BACK one Day.

Yea, no idea what the oz weight is, but mine is pretty solid. When I say it's stiff, it literally stands straight up on the floor.

I've been wanting a canvas Thedi like yours for a while now but with no leather trim except maybe the collar. I've owned an all leather version of yours but would prefer one in canvas. Your jacket is really nice.

Yep. I already have a black Herc from Terry in black cow. When I find a brown one in horse or cow with a patina like @Imuricecreamman's, my quest will be complete. Maybe...

613. Second day today in a long while that I can actually wear a leather jacket all day and it just reminded me how bad, miserable and lousy I feel without a Perfecto. I put this on and I got this feeling like there isn't anything I can't handle. I'm happy, confident and overall a better person.

@Monitor, That 613 looks awesome. Hard to top the original. I am gonna have to get another one. I haven't wore my 618hh in quite awhile. I lost a few lbs. and the 48 is kinda big. I am gonna go for a 46 or possibly a 44 this fall/early winter. I think Schott has a "black Friday" sale, but I am not sure.

@JMax, I was never really a CR fan. I might have to start reconsidering. That jacket looks superb.
