I have a nice collection of magazines from the 1940s that I'd like to somehow display in my office instead of just piling them on a shelf. Any ideas?
I always have some of mine 'strategically placed' on end-tables, consoles, tables, etc.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. A magazine rack? http://www.flickr.com/photos/hawkins-thiel/4429733847/in/photostream/ There are many of this style out there, and in nicer shape of course but, a nice piece of period furniture with vintage mags in it, how can ya miss?
I always worried about that too. People generally know not to touch things in my house unless they ask first. Except they feel compelled to dial my rotary phones until I want to throttle them.
Undoubtedly, many of them have never seen a rotary dial phone before! LOL
