So, I really do like the look of 1930-1940s full length Overcoats: Belted back or full belt, wide lapels, wide button stance, length hitting half-way between knees and ground... You know the look.
Now the problem is, I'm 200cm tall and I have never in my life been able to find a coat that gets to that length in general, even less so vintage styled or actually vintage ones.
The longest coats in my collection are around 50 inch/130cm and that's also where the normal M2M shops max out as per my increasingly desperate inquiries. And to add to that, going by my experiences with M2M suits, at my size the mainstream stores also generally struggle with esthetically important details like the button placement.
So far, I was only able to find two shops that could potentially do what I Want: the Coatress in Berlin (fully bespoke and starting at 4k, a tad too excessive) and Magnoli Clothiers (a lot of negative reviews for non-costume stuff).
So, in my darkest hour I turn to the internet once again: Do any of you know of a store, M2M tailor, etc. that does make vintage styled Overcoats to unusual measurements? Anything?
