I am a big fan of Havens Bros Hats out of Loveland CO. He has multiple styles of Crossover/Country Gentleman hats on his webpage (hbhats.com). I have one and it is a Western weight beaver and a very well made hat.

I've had this one for 2 years now and it's still one of my absolute favorite lids. Silvermist with burgundy ribbon and a bound brim that closely matches the felt.

I bought this hat a couple months back:

It didn’t have a ribbon or liner and the sweat was shot. It was in my size and it was a Stetson No. 1 and it was cheap so I snatched it up. After a month or so I sent it off the VS for a complete rebuild. It came back in less than one month and I couldn’t be happier. Arts prices for cleaning, reblocking, a ribbon, a liner, and a sweat make this an incredible deal. I like it so much I think I’ll even keep the cattleman’s crease (don’t tell @Zombie_62).

Thanks, DH. That's probably my main idea for the ribbon, or something maybe a little darker. Still, I'll see if Art comes up with any ideas. I'm always open to suggestions.

Received this back this week. Art replaced the ribbon on this Brent Black. Kinda hard to tell in the pics but the primary color on the ribbon is brown. I’m crazy about his attention to detail.

It seems once I get a hat back from Art I have a couple more I want worked on. He has one more of mine right now and I have three waiting to send.
