The proper way to wear fishnets.

Have you tried eBay? I found a pair their about two years ago from a seller who sold only stockings and lingerie.

My favorite way to wear fishnet stockings.

I like to mostly wear them in winter, I would take black tights and **** fishnets over the top(The fish net is the large net) I wear them with a very dark charcole colored wool skirt that is just below the knee and some pointy shoes with a kitten heal (or with a black leather knee high boot... so when you are sitting you just get a peak of the fishnet!) combined with a sweater and a black leather jacket and hand crochet black fingerless mittens!
This was one of my favorite outfits when I used to do sales for the beauty industry! When I used to live in Portland.

By the way, what is the deal with the Cuban heel? I've seen these for sale but I don't think I've ever noticed anyone wearing these in old pictures.

We were watching Alice Adams with Katherine Hepburn the other night and in one of the early scenes you can see her cuban heels.
