Thursday evening I imbibed carbonated water.

Friday morning started before 5:00 am. I wanted to enjoy the cooler temps and get things done. Cold brew coffee, breakfast grilling Surley beer and an Oslo Brewing Co. Nordic Pilsner paired with a grilled potato, peppers and buffalo sausage breakfast have been my treats.

On with USA Independence Day celebrations!

Yesterday evening I enjoyed Sauna Water.

Portage Brewing in Walker Minnesota produces "Sauna Water." Taste notes are spruce, cardamom, juniper, allspice, and lemon. The spice blend is inspired by Scandinavian baking. The balance of the botanicals make it my fav water drink. Dang it is a treat.

I am sure that I like this carbonated water as it reminds me of our former cabin in Northern Minnesota. I have even planted pines and birch near our boathouse (2nd floor has a sauna) in tribute to my memories of the cabin.

Throw some Löyly (water) on the hot rocks and enjoy a sauna tonight. Cheers, Eric -

Between staying up late the last couple nights protecting Mr Moose the Labrador from those noisy fireworks, and trying to get a couple rush leather jobs ready for delivery today, im definately running a sleep deficit. Didnt wake up today till about 10:30.... bright and sunny outside so Im by-passing coffee and going straight to a Tequila ****** Mary ( ****** Marita?). A nice old 4x American Hat keeping my scalp safe in the sun while the ice melts and the level in the glass goes down

Bonus day! Hats, ****** Mary AND Beef Fajitas! Did some leather treatment ( Using Pecards) on about a dozen leather sweatbands today. Will let it saturate in for a week or so before I buff off. The Fajitas will be long gone by that time. We shall see what I cook up for the next batch of hat maintenance

In trying to stock up again & beat the 30% tariff coming 8/01 against Mexico, Canada, & the EU it would appear that tequila retailers have already taken at least half of the tariff increase on better tequilas since my last buy. I would expect the rest of the increase to come soon after the deadline. Not being part of the EU any longer, Single Malt Scotch pricing is holding its own but in time I would expect everything to take an increase. Even Kentucky Bourbon.
