Finished a marathon effort to whip my curbs and flower bed edges back into order. I guess I let them get out of hand with 5-6" of grass over the edges. Not overly hot but really humid... soaked through a shirt , used two weedeater batteries and two spools of line. Looks decent now. Trying to stop sweating with a big vodka and cranberry or two. Underneath a Stetson Hemp Stratoliner and a good old Peterson full of Seattle Pipe Club- Seattle Wildman ( seemed like a Latakia bomb day!)

Just learned that tomorrow is Missouri Pint Day sponsored each yr by Missouri Craft Brewers Association.

Souvenir pint glasses used to be hand painted & unique but last yr the glasses just had a Mylar sleeve. Looks like they will be again this yr.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning I have been enjoying Founders Mortal Bloom Hazy Bloom. The intense citrus (pineapple and mango) have an easy mouth feel. Bloom flavorful, aromatic and an easy mouth feel make this a grand weekend beer selection.

Saturday I made Seafood Pho and spring rolls. A lot of time making the broth, but the results are delicious. The beer paired well with the dinner.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dad’s, uncles, & grandpa’s out there.

Waiting on a chimney of charcoal to be ready to grill a ribeye & some root veggies & peppers. Sipping on some high octane Alma Del Jaguar Blanco Nocturna 101 proof tequila while I wait. Had everything ready to roll outside but it’s too hot to sip on the veranda. With an OR RD.

Made a lunch run down the road to Stetsi's Beer Garden for lunch in the big burg of Lovelady, Tx. ( A local Czech brewery) Today it was the newly refurbed Stetson, Beef Quesadillas and one of their wonderful Blonde ales (St Willies Abbey... as in Willie Nelson)

Actually found someone on etsy selling St Willie prayer candles. Bought a couple, so Ive got one at home and took the other down to Stetsi's and traded it to them for a free glass!

Been a while since I posted on this thread, but my father in law just got back from a road trip across the country and brought me some beers from Michigan. Tonight's was Norm's Raggedy-*** IPA from Griffin Claw Brewing, it was very good. Can't lose with a name like that.

Quite a tasty Chianti. Palm straw Tula for Etsuko and hemp Akubra Range for me.

A 54 yr old single malt Scotch whisky, Bowmore ARC-54 Iridos Edition just sold at Sotheby’s, London in May for $121,384. Aged in European & American casks, then blended & bottled at 43.2% ABV. In collaboration with Aston Martin it was bottled in a decanter inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
