Fedora Hat storage

When not out as part of a rotation to wear, I bag & box my hats with plenty of Red Cedar chips or blocks in the box. Flat caps; not so much.

I'm seriously thinking of selling my Gibson ES-335. I've been going more and more acoustic: Martin D35 Johnny Cash and a Gibson Hummingbird, but that 12 string just takes me to another world. And I've still got my old '64 Melody Maker for those post-administrative-meetings moments when I feel like doing violence to something.

Not to keep this thread off track but acoustic is about all I pick up. I've got a Peavey Strat clone I pick up every now and then but not much. You've got a D-35 and a Hummingbird, I already hate you. :D As for 12 strings, I've played them but never owned one. I have enough trouble with six. I'm a Guild fan though, especially ther RI guitars, they're built like tanks. Guild went down and they discontinued a bunch of good models after Fender bought them.

Oh yeah, still trying to figure out how to store my hats. We could be like moon, trying to figure out where to store a drum kit. :)

ha!!!

I have a high carpeted shelf built into my studio so some sit high ... sort of like something you would see in Sam Ash or Guitar Center or any of those awful monster chain garbage stores

problem is it only fits 3 kits ... so the others are stacked on the floor

Do you belong to another forum where you post "What Drum Kit Are You Beating On Today?" photos?

ha!

no ... but that's not a bad idea...

though I usually only play one ... or two ... depending on the gig and style of music I'm playing that night

the rest just sit there and get dusted one and a while

pathetic ... I know

Moon, I saw this pic posted somewhere else today and immediately thought of you. You might be able to decorate your studio for the rest of the month this way and solve a bit of the drum storage problem. Just a thought.

You know, I almost followed my comment by saying something like, "Wait - don't tell me this pic was shot in your studio," but I thought that would seem like I was being a jerk. Guess I should have added it anyway. :)

Yeah, moon. I saw that yesterday too and my first thought was - It's been done.

Too bad we couldn't have one with the original Moon the Loon before he was "taken away."

And here it is December 3rd. Wanna know what I was doing 36 years ago today?
