1970s boots

My dad use to wear these back in the 70s. I like them, but the heels are 1 1/2" high! I feel like I'm going to fall and break my ankle.
What do you all think?

1 1/2" heels are fine. You just need to get used to walking in them. I had a hell of a time, but got used to the cuban heeled "Beatle boots" pretty quickly (they also have 1 1/2" heels).

You'll soon get over that feeling. l remember getting my first pair of cuban healed R.M.Williams and feeling the same initially.

BTW, you may want to switch out those black laces for a more complementary shade of brown.

Very reminiscent of the "vintage work boots" I find on eBay all the time. They definitley remind me of the boots my father used to wear as a carpenter. although I don't think I would go so far as to try them. I like a more clean-cut, military look. The Road to Perdition and Indy boots come to mind.

Cool boots. I can't wear heels that high anymore, they kill my feet and knees and nearly cripple me. Comes with age I guess.[huh] Unfortunately, I can't wear my favorite pair of cowboy boots anymore....
