This past weekend I enjoyed some Surley Supreme, Founders All Day IPA and a wee bit of Green Spot.

Been kinda stressed about Mr Mooses condition the last few days. We should be scheduling his surgery tuesday after the final pre op evaluation. Took him out this morning to visit some friends at a local shop for sniff and greeting customers and a couple sausage rolls. Good time had by all!

Came back and decided I needed a bit of a break.... Fired up a decent Macanudo and made a big Old Fashioned looking thing. Sage Stetson Stratoliner keeping my delicate locks safe

If you have a decent tobacconist nearby or can order them in, try a few Henry Clay War Hawks.
Right around here the local Tobacco Barn chain has CAO, Olivas and a few Macanudos... byond that its the Swisher Sweets,White Owls and "grocery store" sticks. Gone are the days up north when I could drive across the border to Vancouver BC and pick up decent Cubans. I usually order my stuff in. There is a Total Wine about 70 miles west in Bryan that has a good Humidor room. Also Cigars International is about 70 miles south. May have to make a lunch run down south or out west and do a test burn. Thanks for the heads up.

I use pips way more than cigars and have a rather large supply of cellared good tobaccos... I even have about 3 oz of old Frog Morton left. I normally like English Blends like Boswell Northwoods, Countryside and Train Station, and of Course good old 965, Early Morning Pipe and Nightcap. I loved some of the Macbaren blends but that line is kinda up in the air these days. I grab some favorite when I find, but Im trying to wean myself off of things that appear to be gong away.

A decent tobacconist in the netherlands? They don't exist anymore unfortunally. Thanks to the anti tabacco lobby. We can't order online anymore even not in our own country and online pictures of cigars etc are forbidden. But thanks for the tip anyway!

Friends don’t let friends…
When I cheap out I just fire up a little Punch Maduro.... picked up that habit in Ft Worth years back... Could walk down to Tobacco Lane on Main St and fire one up.... just big enough to last through the rest of lunch hr..... never could bring myself to go cheaper than that

Took Mr Moose out for a car ride earlier and now sitting out back with a rum and mango nectar, and a pipe ( Peterson rusticated 307 burning some Peter Stokkebye 4th Gen 1897 today) Miller Hats had come up in a couple conversations lately, so heres one... A Miller Executive series... Nice little fur felt lid

Its a lot nicer than an average "Mechanics fedora", but its one of those nice cheaper hats you dont have to worry about too much
