It took a decade, I think. And crazy weather, bars both great and small and very hard work and play. Battered hides are probably better for the liver commitment these days.

I had never thought of it, but wore it outside just now to try it. I think you’re right, it does block wind very effectively, even more so than a regular leather jacket.

I too have been thinking about ordering a grizzly recently. I have seen one listed on ebay its double black and I think it looks great.
I also love the thedi version especially the curly fleece, does anyone know if Aero has a curly option?

I also love hair on hide, but having read the 'grizzly' thread it seems that the view is that the hair will rub off with wear...

Had that jacket on top of the list ever since it appeared and I'd always buy something else and every time I'd be like "Should've gotten the 59'er". And I will.

But right now Lewis Leathers Memphis is the only jacket I'd pay big money for.

You need to decorate that bad boy with studs and pins and stuff. Sid Vicious style.

My absolute favorite spring/summer riding jacket today for 80. Dainese Kayes from their 72 collection. I get quite a few compliments on it off the bike. You wouldn't ever know there's armor in there and good ventilation

I believe in scars lol. Knees, shins, arms, in between my left eye and forehead, side of hips, shoulders n my personal fav, a tiny 1 inch mark left from a pneumothorax.
Mostly from sports related injuries .
