That "bluish" shade is the reason I chose the Fed in that color.

I would think that would look great in a Fed. Almost like Indy's original travelling hat. The color is interesting and can actually have an almost lavender tint at times. The color is particularly good with bluejeans but is quite versatile. I was a bit sour because HD sent me one which was not consistently pounced and it will not make the cut for a dress hat. Sad to buy a Heritage and receive a second... Went right to daily beater status. On the other hand, it fits in the Harley saddle bags and gets a lot of wear time that a dress hat would not see.
I have also been admiring the Akubra Range that I mentioned above. Looks like a great concept for Gulf South hat.

I'm hoping it will. Only have one other Grey a darker Biltmore Rosselini so this will lighten things up. I kno what u mean abt Deluxe pricing from HD. My 2 CD'S from EA were only each abt $115 delivered versus abt $175 for the Deluxe Fed from HD. So im hoping its gonna look decent. It will get lots of wear w blue jeans and I may even take it out to a very nice restaurant for dinner! Your HD must have big bags to handle that hat...?
