This weekend with my wife and two of the grands at Big Cypress Lodge at The Pyramid in Memphis.
The Lodge is a great place to stay… and then there is the store to browse in!!

 

[The Shoe]

Visiting southern Wakayama and Sandanbeki, a popular sightseeing and sui_cide spot. We partook in the first of those activities.

Just down the road is engetsuto, full moon island. Named for the circular opening, but more famous for the sun shining through the opening at certain times of the day at certain times of the year.

We have a similar place in New Zealand, which goes by the far more poetic name of Hole in the Rock.
