Jeff, I believe the Longhorn(Jr. actually) is listed as having a pencil curl. Carouselvic found a 1949 ad for it. When I got the hat it was pretty crunched up, after steaming, went right back into the curl.

You'd think I'd recognize a pencil curl by now, ha! Maybe it's the combination of that and the flange that really gets me going. Anyway nice one, and nice wide ribbon vs today!
