Comet by Vanson Leathers, in a size 44. Made from spectacular, full-grain horsehide that is somewhat lighter but insomuch considerably more wearable than the Comp. Weight cowhide.
All the superior traits unique to their horsehide line, such as Riri hardware, pure cotton lining and neater construction, are present.

Perfect jacket in its perfect form.

You can always move the 100, get this and pocket the extra $1200.

Never seen HH from Vanson heavier on the grain than this. They usually use stuff heavy on the oils which this leather is not and that does affect the grain.

Aye, this is the default Comet, not the longer version so not an entirely easy jacket to pull off.

How would you say the leather/grain compares to older comp weight? Been looking at a comet for a while but never considered the horsehide model.
