This week is Turkey Soup. Using the last parts of the turkey, frozen from Thanksgiving.

I love the baconator. I considered sending a picture into Wendy's of me consuming one when they had those "the baconator is a man's burger" commercials. Just to prove that ladies enjoy them too!

Rib-eye steak on the bbq (in December!...great), mushrooms in a red wine sauce, sauted bell peppers and onions, and simple boiled Yukon golds. Since retiring, I've become the head cook.

For this evening's meal, I've got a potato & corn chowder in my slow cooker. I'll probably dice up some of our leftover Christmas ham and toss that in. Yeast rolls on the side.
