Well gentlemen looks like I will sending in some ideas to have a peacoat made with Jl as of now the leather selected is a British tan ijuat for fun I’m having them send me some elk swatches if I decide to switch leathers

Warm weather has limited my time with both of these jackets so I can't really speak to what the Aspen hide is like over time.

That being said I must say this horsehide is real comfortable right out of the box. The burgundy jacket is at 3 oz and the navy is split to 3.5 oz and is just as easy to wear. The glossy appearance of the surface finish is quite pronounced, and is something that I will be interested to see how it develops over time. Overall though great first impressions. The color and grain stands out!

How scratch resistent is the topcoat? My biggest issue with CXL is how easily it scratches..
