Hey, maybe we could start a thread where we ask strangers on the street to pose with us. Could be great.
I’m willing to give that a try. In Chicago that could yield some entertaining results. I might take a crack at this tomorrow. Only thing is posting other people’s faces online. That could be a problem. I assume consent must be given.

Tony you just have to do this! Down at the mirror-egg downtown it would be a natural!

Ps: Sorry about the prior post in the wrong thread

Interesting color. Looks a bit burgundy to me in the outside light. Is it Shinki seal?

Well folks here's a HUGE departure from the norm for me on the Lounge.
St Andrews night down my local pub tonight , traditional Scottish fayre.
Wee lassies Highland dancing , and a live Pipe band in the pub.
My jacket choice for tonight was purchased from this very forum classifieds ( thanks Tweedydon !)
Anderson Tartan I seem to remember from the time.

That looks great G Man! I inherited my father's love of the pipes, not that I had much choice - I grew up living next to Scots, and two of my best friends over the years are Scottish! I would've thoroughly enjoyed that evening, looks like you sure did!

In the US and the UK you don't need people consent to post their faces online.
There is no expectation of privacy in public places, if they didn'twant their pics taken they should have stayed at home...

Same for countries within the European Union.
An example of a non-public place where consent is required is at a rock concert.

Not really, in Belgium you cannot take pictures of people without their consent.
It's ok if they are part of a crowd, but they cannot be the main point of interrest of the picture.
Same in France.

In the US and UK you can just walk to someone and take a picture of them.
This isn't legal in Belgium or France:

I stand corrected. I Googled it. Since the introduction of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in may 2018, a photo in which someone is shown recognizable is considered 'personal data' and is thus protected under the rule of the GDPR law.
This European regulation must be applied in its entirety across the EU and therefore overrules country legislation.
