Thought Id pull one of the western conversions off the wall today. This one started off as a dirty Stetson *** Club rancher. More of a fedora-ish town hat now

Yesterday, I had a great time attending an all-day professional conference in Washington, D.C. Unfortunately, that meant I could not do my regularly scheduled livestream yesterday but fear not because I will still deliver Hat Tuesday #3 (Wednesday Edition) when I go live at 11am EST. Today, we are tipping our crowns (literally) to my Akubra Stylemaster in Navy Blue — a hat so sharp it makes indigo jeans look underdressed. Trying a different brim shape on a new rabbit/beaver felt Indy Hat. Also having fun with a new hot foil stamper!

Every time I replace a worn out sweatband I wish I had a foil stamper. With the leatherwork I do, there have been many times it would have been great.... soft leathers and oil tanned just dont stamp well with my maker stamp very well. I AM getting ready to get brave and try heating up the steel makers stamp and see how it does as a branding iron

It's the shade. Wasn't much sun when I took the photo. It's a forest green color.
