Great Habig find, Steve. Love the wide brim and tall crown proportions.

Looks like a midnight blue colour. Is that right?

Came with likely 1916 documentation.
The BRE I’ve been hoping for. Not completely mint, but close enough.
Only thing I’ve done is a quick dry shape on the crown with no steam, and put a dry stretch using an old wooden stretcher inside the hatband to open her back up to its original size 7 1/4.
eBay win since it came with a nice red 40s Dobbs hat box for just under 3 digits!

Steve, Thank you! The paper label has "Schw." (Black) but the label entries are all hand written. It came from a Vienna seller so I am thinking it might have been cleaned / rebuilt by P. & C. Habig Wien. The band / bow was removed and put back in place.
