Came with likely 1916 documentation.
The BRE I’ve been hoping for. Not completely mint, but close enough.
Only thing I’ve done is a quick dry shape on the crown with no steam, and put a dry stretch using an old wooden stretcher inside the hatband to open her back up to its original size 7 1/4.
eBay win since it came with a nice red 40s Dobbs hat box for just under 3 digits!

Sad news from East Texas this evening. Mr Moose the worlds best Chocolate Lab passed away tonight. Was having breathing trouble a couple days ago. We had an appt to get him looked at tomorrow. He started breathng hard this evening and then he just collapsed and was gone a minute or so later. At least we were together when the time came.

A nice light grey Stetson Royal Deluxe Open Road this morning. 2-3/8" brim. Really lightweight felt. No Liner in in when it came to me. Not sure if was removed or if thats the way it was all along. No tags inside except for size tag. At least this way its fairly cool in hot weather

Janyška "Praga" possibly late 1930s early 1940s and from my Czech May 2016 NOS Find. Janyška was started in the 1920s in Valašské Meziříčí – Krásno about 25 km from Nový Jičín. Janyška was not a Austrian company but grew out of that tradition.
