Oh, snap!!!! That's gorgeous, Steve, and I absolutely LOVE how the brim stitching picks up the texture of the leather jacket! Nicely done, sir!!
Thats some serious stitching on the brim!
Thanks Mark and Rick.

Looks even better when it’s on your head! The temperature finally cooled down more or less enough for me to be able to take my new Hornskov Diamond on an evening stroll.

Your curling game is ON POINT, Rick! Another nicely done job!Well we made it through the long weekend. Thought Id continue with the curled brims again today. Today its an inexpensive Stetson Montes wool western that I specifically got on the cheap to learn how to do brim curls. It a shorter crown and smaller curl than yesterdays Resistol. I do actually have another Resistol project hat inbound that will also get some curl action.... figured I needed one in a lighter color lol

Is your weather similar to Melbourne with arctic air and desert air battling it out from week to week? You are obviously further from the desert - does it effect Taz much?Hats so far this week with bit warmer yesterday then snapping back to winter today. First bit theatrical and second Akubra Bogart in one of the greys.

Hi @The Lost Cowboy
Tassie be an island tends to have a moderate climate with temps in the 5-20 most days. Fortunately we miss the asphalt melting summer days with high pollen counts you get in Melbourne.
But when the air currents change to come from Antarctica welcome to the freezer.
We also tend to have rather unique climate zones. Launceston is where my main home is inland and up at 230 metres lot colder than Hobart where I work sometimes but Hobart lot wetter.
Generally on the coastal areas where most of us live snow is rare but heavy frosts are common. Up in the highlands snow is very common.
As they say in Tassie “if you do not like the weather wait five minutes”.
