The Stetson Stratoliner, simply fabulous Eric. I found something similar on E-Bay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272162547335 but at £147, although it's probably good value, we are having to watch the pennies at present. (£147 is about five bucks short of $200.) We are in the throws of selling our home.

Later on this morning Tina and I have an appointment at the selling agent's office, after which I am taking my lady to her hospital appointment. It's a routine check on the surgery that she had last year.
Her appointment is at the Salisbury hospital outpatients, hopefully her recovery continues to impress.

Well Mr Moose got the news today that we kind of suspected. His tumor was a malignant Hermangiosarcoma. Vet said at his stage that chemo is not normally very effctive so thats not really on the table. He had his staples removed this morning, and vet said he looks to be healing really well so at least hell be a bit more comfortable. The pathology report indicated that the combined mass of the spleen and tumor which was removed together was over 4 pounds. Red blood cell count was low this morning, so vet wanted to give him a blood transfusion before I take him home later this afternoon. whether its 3 months or or three years left, the long term prognosis is not very good and basically boils down to how well his body fights it. Beyond hugs, attention, treats and car rides theres not much I can do but be there for him.

Hug your pets

Looks great on you - in any decade.
I love it, as I’m sure everyone here is when a compliment comes in from anyone when you’re wearing a fedora.
So, I’m a seventy year old man walking my dog this morning and out of nowhere I hear a lady yelling at me “I love that **** ing hat!” from her car window. Just thought I’d share that because I’m still glowing a little.

Yeah I understand that. I had a woman in the spring who came running out of a store to tell me she loved the way I was dressed.

Thanks for the compliment on the borsa.

My wife's VW Golf car had developed something of a cough-like noise when stationery, to that end she booked it into the main VW garage. They found the cause but the car has to stay overnight, resulting in me getting a "help" call.
Collecting her from the garage in my old MG, the number of people that came out to photograph the car, well I think it was the car. On the way home Tina said that my hat drew quite a bit of attention.

I should have got Tina to photograph me but this recycled photo gives you the jist.......... View attachment 719932
Some say red should be used in moderation. I say they are wrong. Looking great and styled to match your “bad chariot”.
