Waiting for a couple more days of incision strengthing before I let him climb up in the Tahoe. ( he doesnt climb in... he launches!) He wont be dong much physical activity, but we can sure do some rides for chicken nuggets or something... get some wind in the ears
No cone of shame but he does have a nice new sleep shirt that covers things and helps avoid dirt. Must feel good because whenever he has it on hes sprawled out and snoozing. Healings going well. He goes out when he needs to, but I think hess diggin' the A/C

I wear flat caps for work selling pizzas. I've been trying to remember to take a photo at work but we are just too busy to even think about it. Here is a shot as I was leaving the house this morning.

I don't have any really spiffy caps - this one is from Country Gentleman and suits me fine, though I am on the lookout for some caps that are a bit more standout-ish (dare I say @Short Balding Guy - esque?).

The older I get, the more I look like Mr Turtle. Gonna have to call my house Terrapin Station!

My wife's VW Golf car had developed something of a cough-like noise when stationery, to that end she booked it into the main VW garage. They found the cause but the car has to stay overnight, resulting in me getting a "help" call.
Collecting her from the garage in my old MG, the number of people that came out to photograph the car, well I think it was the car. On the way home Tina said that my hat drew quite a bit of attention.

I should have got Tina to photograph me but this recycled photo gives you the jist..........

94 degrees and about 80% humidity... But the grass was getting out of hand, and is wasnt gonna mow itself. Whipped out my favorite yardwork hat... an old LLBean straw "Guaranteed Panama Hand Woven in Equator" Hat. Big enough brim for the sun and tall crown to allow some air above the head. For a cheap hat its wears and holds up well. (it gets a lot of sweat soaking)

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" possibly 1930s. The black Felt is very light in weight and pliable. Interesting Liner and off-white Sweatband. Found this Homburg back in 2017.

JHS was possibly the originator of the Hat Hanging Cord.

Hauled out a nice little Royal Stetson from Marshall Fields this morning. Nice medium grey with a BackBow. Still has the original $10.95 price tag inside. Beautifully soft felt... definately no stiffiner in this one. 2-1/8" brim, 5" crown
