Good morning from Minnesota, USA. The warmer weather is our forecast for a few days.

Yesterday's after work shenanigans were under the brim of a Newt Panama. This panama is made by Optimo, Chicago, Il. It is a beaut! Quality weaving, quality ribbon work and blocking/flanging perfection.

A morning dog soirée under the brim of an Optimo panama hat. Dang this is a very fine hat. Details really do matter.

Morning cold brew coffee under the brim of a PHD panama fedora.

I switched to a finer quailty PHD panama for some errands.

The black Susquehana teamed up with the black trousers Tina made, compliment the blazer perfectly.
It's curious how black is the colour of mourning yet formal evening wear for men is almost always a black suit and black bowtie.

Sunbody for a quick run to the supermarket this afternoon.

I was wearing a different kind of hat this morning when I climbed over 1000m on my bike to get to the Oishi Highlands. Stunning views from the top, but it was a hell of an effort to get there. Maximum incline of 19%

Thanks, Rick. I decided to go with a bike for my 10km commute to work when my scooter broke down about 2½ months ago. Since then I’ve done a couple of 100km rides, but this 50km ride was my most challenging yet by far. I do have something in mind that will surpass it, though. Watch this space.
