Good day folks. Below are some hats I wore the past couple days.

VS fedora. It is a green moss beaver felt styled to be similar to a Whippet.

Meet the “Brown-Ton Abbey” by Brian Forbes — a stately brown felt crowned taller than Lord Grantham’s ego and wrapped in a white ribbon with just the right amount of patina (think of it as aristocratic weathering). Perched proudly on the side, a yellow feather that could very well have fluttered out of Lady Mary’s hatbox after one of her many dramatic exits. This is not just a hat, it is a whole estate ... and it does not sit on your head — it resides there, with all the grandeur of Carson insisting everything be done properly, and a touch of scandalous flair worthy of the Dowager Countess delivering a one-liner. Because sometimes, a hat is not merely fashion. Sometimes, it is a whole upstairs-downstairs saga. Welcome to "Brown-Ton Abbey".

Tomorrow we are off to a festival at a place called Poole Quay, There's a singer whose repetoire is that of The Swing era, name of Simon Lane. https://www.simonlanemusic.co.uk/ He really is a great talent.

Before we go to the quay we will be going to our church service, I suggested my lemon coloured blazer: "Don't you dare wear that in church," came the reply. But then Tina came up with a very helpful suggestion. The grey blazer for church and then take the lemon one for later. There's not enough time to go home to change.

"And wear that lovely hat that I like," she said, "the grey one," The bespoke Susquehana it is then.
It might be an idea to put bring an Aloha shirt along too. Fingers crossed for some sunshine.

Robert, you make BOTH of those look fantastic. I am becoming more and more certain that you could wear a wet grocery bag, and make it look dapper. You have a gift, sir.
