And a Mode Edge to boot! Very nice, Nathan!

You're right, and I should actually call this a 3XME.

It's definitely not labeled a Fifteen, but I seem to remember it either having a reciept or a $15 dollar tag somewhere. I don't have time to look now but I wouldn't be surprised if I never find one since my imagination works so much better than my memory. ;)

Happy Monday, my fellow hat nerds. I will be going live at 11am EST for the next installment of Hat Chat while wearing my Berg Lord's Hat. Please feel free to pop in and leave me any questions about anything (though no politics please ... unless it is hat-related!). If you want to see more of this kind of content, please like the video and subscribe to channel as that motivates me to keep this going.

Fun little box arrived today.... I missed out on auction for a nice older brown Stetson bowler a few weeks back. I found this nice Barlesoni Brown bowler offered up and I couldnt resist. ( not as vintage as my Std Quality and Excellant Quality Stetsons, but its a nice clean little lid) Now I have Black AND Brown! Nice curl, nice wide brim binding and in really great condition... looks almost new

Love this hat, Rick! I was just chatting about the elusive "vintage brown bowler" in one of my "Hat Chat" segments on YouTube this past week. This one is a beauty!

I was really mad at myself for forgetting to dive in and bid on the brown stetson a few weeks back... logged in about 5 minutes after it was sold.... Now I feel better...... A vintage brown 30's Stetson would have been better but Im thrilled with this one...Maybe now I should start looking for a grey one? lol

Great group of bowlers/derbies you have there. Sorry you missed out on the Stetson. Such is the life of a collector ... though when I miss out on a great deal, I tend to implement a "sour grapes" defense mechanism. :D

Today’s outfit is all about the hat. It is a custom made soft medium weight 100% beaver felt that explains why beaver is so well regarded as a felt. With the craftsman we had some pretty demanding specifications on the felt, its colours and ribbons so around six months of searching for everything by Tibor before he started crafting it.

It is made with proportions to suit my frame and I could not be happier with the final hat and its fit. Fantastic to still be able to commission hats.
