I think you're right. Crown too low (especially with that wide ribbon, which makes it look even smaller) and brim way too short for your face shape.

I'm OK with the crown height, but the Baron's right, your face wants a wider brim. Of course, with a wider brim the crown height would probably look out of proportion to the brim, so in that circumstance I'd probably agree with the Baron on that too.

RBH: the cavanagh feels like it "fits right" it sits with the brim about a finger's width above my ear, I had one that sat lower but I didn't like it rubbin on my ears. handlebar bart & bolthead: the upper picture is a fed 4 which falls into the 2 3/4" tall, untapered brim, it's just 1/2 size too small I think. here is a pcture of a campdraft (which also falls into that category)

and here is one of my summer hats w/ a 3" brim, I think it's a little too much, and only wear it when I'm going to be outside all day

Rob,I think the straw looks best on you. This is what I meant by a Tall, untapered Crown, with a Wide Brim.

The campdraft is nice, but you're right, it's too small, needs more crown too.
