deanglen, The crown of the Stratoliner is 5 1/2" at the top of the pinch. I doubt that the camera adds much if any to the height. The brim is 2 1/2".

Carter, that top view is an example of how I like to see a crown shaped. Some symmetry but not too perfect. Still some of that natural puckering like in the old movies and ads. Very nice, my friend.
