I almost wore a derby today, I'm very glad the Fed IV won out.

Jeff, the pipe from yesterday is a Bjarne Nelson packed with the last of my Edwards Supreme. (sadly it has been discontinued.)

tonight on a warm night my 70s-ish Park Plaza straw is doing me just fine

...I steamed the sides then just sort of pushed them up using my palm in a sort of wiping motion a few times then steamed the front and pulled it strait and that is what happened. the back is factory.

I'm still sort of getting it where I want it...

Looks good to me as is. And thank you Sir! I don't have an adequate way to apply steam to my hats, so I suppose I'll have to try this with distilled water instead...once I select which hat to alter, that is.

Hi Zombie_61,

I don't have a steamer, but I do have a small boiler that I fill with a small amount of water, then cover most of the top with aluminum foil. I keep one part raised like a spout at the edge of the pot, which works well at directing the steam as the water heats. Hope this helps.
