This afternoon, I am kicking my heels up and reading the local newspaper-yes a paper newspaper. My hat, VS Wanderer (Dove), having been worn this morning was at the ready for a quick pic.

Today I started with this stingy Resistol BR Westerns in silverbelly. Nice to wear inside house, bad to wear outside, not enough shade.

Just to... compare with the giant Stagecoach.

By lunch I switched it for this black 4X beaver Stetson I bought from Randall (randooch) a year ago (?) because I needed more shade than the one the Resistol BR can provide.

vintage68--I'm originally from the Gulf Coast, and although I've been in the Bay Area for thirty years, I start to really miss rain by this time of year. This little bit of moisture feels good. Of course since you're in Nevada you know what it's like to be dry, I'm sure.
