B.J., I really like the way you block your hats!.... How do you get them so straight up and down?

Thanks. The answer is I just get lucky. With my campdraft’s I wet shaped them, then beat them, wet shaped them back to open crown and then did it again. Wasn’t completely happy, so I wetted just the sides and ribbon and stretched them over my straight-side hat shaper (not really much of a stretch). Once it dries the front pinch and most of the top goes right back, but the sides stay out. From the side profile it ends up a little tapered though because of the sweatband. I’m thinking of trying this fall to craft a wood block with a slight notch to account for the sweatband, then I think it would be perfect.
