Looks grand either way. I've sent a charcoal Borsalino of mine to Art Fawcett for an mild upsizing and perhaps a narrower ribbon, and I wondered if maroon would look good on a dark gray hat.

Stetson Turf Club again

As I was cleaning and reblocking this hat a close inspection of the edge treatment reveals what looks like a felted edge or "Mode Edge" as it would be in a Stetson;

But reveals the exposed stitching of the sewn welted edge only on the bottom.

I know I've seen this elsewhere on the Lounge. Kind of neat to see in person
