Green Dobbs Rainbow today with fly feather.

Marvelous! Another one of those iconic Dobbs lids on my list. Any photos of the hat interior?

Very nice. Most of the Dobbs Rainbows I see are the stingier, shorter-crowned variety.

This is the only one I've ever seen with the wider bound brim and higher crown, as well with the fly feather. I'm guessing that came with the hat, I have not tried to remove it. I love the style and color comination, unfortunately, the color just above the hat band has faded some.

Lovely, just lovely! Appreciate the additional photos. The Rainbow has wonderful detailing to the ribbon and edge binding that is beautiful. Is the liner tip design embroidered?

Yes, the liner is embroidered, and has plastic over it to protect from that messy hair goop.
I would love to find another one like this in different colors.

Fantastic! It is these little design elements that make the Rainbow such a great hat. I have been on the hunt for one of these earlier, wide-brimmed/tall crown examples for some time. With my head size it looks like I will be searching a very, very long time to come.
