That's what we call a short beer. I notice there are no spittoons? My wife has a collection of small Victorian ladies glass spittoons they would hold in their laps.

I'm enjoying this pic, Jake. I'll bet these doors are to the icebox. Before refrigeration most commercial iceboxes were made from Oak with tin liners. The most expensive models had thick glass windows in the doors so you could see what you were looking for before opening the doors & losing the cool air.
