Always love seeing these early LE pics. Especially the ones wearing the cross draw or what we used to call the "*******" holster. Those fellows spent a good bit of their salary to get that "uniform" look. Doubt that there was much in the way of a uniform allowance back then.

The "real" Buffalo Bill used these as advanced billing & advertising that his Wild West show was coming to town. It was used on everything from banners around town to handbills.
