In 1916, double amputee Quentin Corley was photographed driving a car with the use of his invention that enabled him to operate the wheel. What is more impressive is that he invented and patented the prosthetic arm he used as well.

This is a great image! The date of 1916 is interesting, you would expect to see this post WWI with a returned veteran, it is hard to tell if the vehicle is Left hand drive or not. The hat is also very interesting, a flat top straw? Brim width also is ample.
