Rusty, J. Rieger Whiskey did exactly that. They got a lot of PR for it; said they have 100 employees they wanted to pay & keep. They were selling gallon jugs of sanitizer in a curbside drive-thru for whatever you could pay. Smart move on their part.

Sounds like good people, Jack!
Rock Town did the same for free and ran out of the first batch in 10 minutes.

Why, that's Jethrine right there!

It brought this to mind.

Rieger is continuing to make sanitizer & selling everything they can make one day each wk. All,proceeds are divided among their employees. Definitely sounds like good people, & in Little Rock too.

One of our local distilleries is doing the same thing.

Pre-1953 from what I can see. I had a first series 1954 3100 5-window that I went completely thru. I had to put a booster for power brakes on it because early hydraulic brakes were never very good. I also rebuilt the bed floor with red oak & chromed the rails; & put in a tilt steering column out of a wrecked Monte Carlo. 327/365hp with solid lifters.

Nice! I rebuilt a 56 Chevy pickup way back when. Mostly stock but with mag wheels and a stained oak bed.

Now that you mention yours, mine was a 55. The 54 & first series 55 were the same cab, then the second series 55 & 56 were the same cab.

I had some soft wood in the bed plus I had some rust in the cab corners where the frame mounts were, so I pulled the bed off to get to the rust & bought a kit for the bed in red oak. Had the rails chromed while I had the bed apart. With new Oak that bed weighed a ton getting it back on the frame.

Always wanted a 52 for the divided windshield & the more rounded cab look but I would take my old truck back any day!

Yep, wish I still had mine, too.
