Find the right artist and they'll be able to help. Traditional 20s - 40s work is resurgent in popularity at the moment, so you should have no trouble finding someone who'll be up to the job.

Google searches for: Bert Grimm, Bob Roberts, Sailor Jerry, Ed Hardy, Owen Jensen, Sailor Sid, Amund van Dietzel, George Burchette etc. might help. I can also recommend some books, if you'd like?

Revenant Publishig released a great book of vintage flash redraw by contemporary tattooists a few years ago. It's called Revisited. (http://tattooflashbooks.com/revenant01.html) .

Vintage Tattoos by Carol Clerk is pretty good too (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vintage-Tat...sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1274988480&sr=1-8), though it's more photographic, less flash.
