Not the best picture, but received this Overcoat today. Purchased from an antiques store in munich and presumably from the 1930s or 50s, it has zero tags left tho so hard to verify. The quality of the material and the stitching is insane, so even if it turns out that it's not that old in the end, it's still an incredible coat in and of itself.
Also, finding sth vintage as a 6'7 person that fits so well is a special occasion by itself :D

No pix, but I have three of note, all being US military.

1) First pattern O.D. cloth trenchcoat issued for general wear which includes lower extensions to be secured around lower legs to further guard against rain. Original tags present.

2) WW 2 Officer's Greatcoat (extending just past knees) of camel-colored wool and silk/nylon inner lining. Wool is nearly 1/4" thick, and it's a heavy coat. Original tags present.

3) A leather (unknown type) trenchcoat made in the US during WW 2. Appear to be a modified "Burberry" pattern. Leather-wrapped belt and cuff buckles. Original tag present. Simple GI wool blanket material used for the lining. I've talked to some folks about this, and while rare, is known to some.
