I made this dress from an "Advance" pattern, which is not dated, but I think is from the mid fifties.

and then one in the mirror to get the skirt in:

I'm pretty pleased with it. It had two zips, which I haven't done many times before, and some nifty triple arm darts. When I can get the scanner to work (which may be months, I've only just managed to work the camera!) I'll put the pattern on the pattern swap thread.

Aw thanks so much ladies! I'm still no master seamstress but I did start my Halloween costume. Sadly it's been put on hold due to a freak accident that left my hands injured. But I'll definitely post pics when I'm done!
