Do you have Clubman too?

Yes, I do have the Clubman-Pinaud aftershave as well as the Clubman Bay Rum. I enjoy both of those, but have been reluctant to try the Lilac Vegetal because of all of the negative things I've read about it. Initially, I was a little put off by the fragrance in the bottle, but found it did take on a light-powder scent after applying it, and think I may actually enjoy wearing it as well.

Go man! I got a trial by fire with Lilac Vegetal (not literally!) when I got a shave at a local barbershop for the first time. After the shave, the barber wraps a hot towel around your face, you know the old fashioned way with just your nose peeking out. Well, once he has it postioned in place and making sure you can breathe, he DOUSES the whole thing with Lilac Vegetal. He must go through 3 bottles a week of the suff, I swear, by the heavy handed application. He then lets you marinate in the hot towel and the vapors of the LV...... I thought the vapors were going to put me OUT!!
Anyhow, ever since then, I can handle the scent no problem...
