Tracking number matches. But the FedEx site has no reference to a fee. Just shows a delivery confirmation.

I think it is a **** since it says to pay th fee to avoid delays but I already got the jacket…I would think FedEx would be smarter than that…
Out of curiosity, what happened with it? Was it a **** or vat?

It's not a leather jacket but it's outstanding from Thedi

The jacket looks beautiful. And the fit is great.
May I ask what is the base model for your jacket?
What dimensions have you sent to Thedi so they created so accurate fitting?
The black one is based on MTC-127996. Theo asks for the following measurements in the image below. The first jacket was a bit oversized and he admitted to a mistake but I kept it for layering since he didn’t seem keen replacing or modifying it likely due to his workload getting out of control.

Then I ordered this black one after buying a used thedi jacket that fit better and used that to help Theo clarify the sizing which was perfect on the second attempt.

Gentlemen,
I’ve spent far too much time perusing this thread. I was going to order another Aero Hooch Hauler; which would have been my 3rd. Since I came across this thread, I’ve really come to appreciate Thedi. So instead of another Aero jacket, I think I’m gonna go for a Thedi Memphis in either cocoa or tan/cognac buffalo.
My question to you all is whether I should order through Thurston Bros. or directly to Thedi. I’ve ordered my previous Aero jackets from Carrie at Thurston. Her customer service is fantastic. She really nailed the sizing for my Hooch Haulers. Some of you advocate going directly to Thedi and others have purchased from Thurston Bros. Since I’ve had good experience working with Thurston on my Aero jackets, I’m inclined to order through them. Carrie told me that she would send a trial jacket to determine the fit. I already know that I want the Memphis to fit slim and short.
I appreciate any feedback you all could provide.

I got mine directly through Theodoros and if I order a second, I would do the same, but I'm based in EU. If I was in US and already had had a positive experience through Thurston, I would go with them unless I thought it would be quite cheaper otherwise (so much cheaper it would also offset the perk of the fit jacket trial). Bear in mind import taxes too.

Thanks for the reply! Thurston’s price includes all taxes.

Maybe its where I am based in the US, but its cheaper going through Theodoros directly. Communication however may be variable as he's very busy these days - I suspect Thurston has a more direct line to him and will spend more time with you dialing in the fit based on a trial jacket sizing but Thedi is a master at getting a good fit so if it was me i'd work directly with him.

This is a tough decision. Of the three Thedis I've purchased new, I bought my first through Thurston Bros in 2020, my second directly from Theodoros via email in 2021, and my most recent (on order now), by visiting the shop in Greece.

Comparing the 2020 and 2021 purchases, the one through Thurston was cheaper for me, but that's probably because the one from Theodoros was a more expensive jacket overall (shearling). The most recent one, purchased from Theodoros after visiting his shop, was substantially more expensive, but that's due to the insane amount of inflation that's occurred everywhere for everything. I haven't dealt with tariff costs yet, so that variable has yet to be determined.

I would say, given your positive experience with Carrie in the past, there is value in going through Thurston Bros. They are much easier to get ahold of in a timely manner and very good with their customer service. Not that Theodoros is bad with customer service. My experience with him has been emails with variable response times, whereas I love that I can call Carrie and actually talk through my questions on the phone.

The fit jacket is also a huge bonus. Cost-comparisons will really be marginal, in the grand scheme of things. Once you're spending $2,000k+ on a jacket, what's the difference of $100?

I hope this helps.

This is one of the most interesting jackets I can recall having seen posted in quite a while. Definitely a hard turn from status quo and very nicely done.
I thought the same thing when Thedi posted it on Instagram. I've never seen one quite like it, and I couldn't resist. I emailed him right away and started the order process. He really knocked it out of the park.
