Hello guys,

I am trying to buy my first ever thedi leather jacket. But that guy makes many such great jackets that i simply cant choose.

I want something that is kinda practical, unique but not too flashy and i want it in that dark brown bruciato teacore horsehide leather or the latest he posted on Instagram the roughout type 3 jacket.

I also always like the double rl cowboy/western aesthetic so i want one that fits that style.

I am currently deciding between these jackets (in bruciato teacore when normal and roughout with the roughout styles) any tips on what to do?:

For me buttons feel more 'cowboy' than zips do. I would think about the style and length of jackets you tend to wear the most now and go with something similar.

Here´s my thoughts:

1. It´s always best to find a retailer stocking Thedi, so you get a general sense of how his jackets wear and feel.

2. If you order via Thedoros himself, sizing is a challenge. Thedi has a notorious prefernce for skin-hugging cuts, so it helps to be very specifiic about your desrired measurements.

3. Middleground may be to order via a retailer, so you have somebody to "translate" your order and interact with you about personal preferences.

No comment re style. Thedi makes a unique jacket, but only you can know what appeals to your taste.

Yes i thought so too. I currently have a Ralph Lauren leather bomber jacket, rrl Jean jacket and a m65 field jacket for winter. Maybe i should ao for a simple Jean jacket in teacore bruciato or that other jacket because it looks a bit like Indiana Jones jacket

Thanks for the tips.

One of the reasons i like thedi is that he has those skin-hugging cuts because i am a pretty slim guy so that would look extra good on my body.

Great! I agree that Thedi is a good option for you then.

I see he does make a type 1, which to me feels more vintage than the modern jean jacket.
