First post, excited to have my first jacket en route since finding the lounge. I have a Flat Head HS005 in Seal Brown size 44 on the way from Rivet and Hide. My second attempt trying to land a brown Flat Head single rider in my size. Hopefully this one is a keeper!

Wow - very rare jacket to come across

@tmitchell59 that's amazing. Did you recognize it, or did the listing call that out?
I recognized it, rather shocked to see it. This is the original brakeman jacket. There was so popular a few years back. I own an original like this. And the free wheelers remake. The back has the typical shan house adjustment, but there are no pictures at the back of the jackets in the catalog.

Incredible recall and eye. Great purchase.

Walter Dyer was/is quite a character. If the price of this catalogue was lower, I'd buy it and digitize it for the Lounge.

Here are some highlights, LOL:

Ha! I bought a copy of that same catalog off eBay a couple weeks ago and I'm sure it's the same one you saw. It'll be a month (another two weeks) before it gets to my house but after it arrives I'll post pics in collated order in your honor, Biff.

That pair of boots in the second pic reminds me of a brand of butter that had an Indian ******* the front of the box. When I was a bachelor many years ago I strategically cut a flap from her buckskin blouse and doctored it such that when you lifted the flap you saw a set of the same girl's knees from the same pic of her that was on the back side of the carton. Nearly everyone that came over to grab a beer out of my refer had lifted that flap hoping for something more interesting than knees. I think it was called Land o' Lakes butter or similar.

After eyeing this leather coat for a while I took the plunge and bought it, for around 50usd the cost was manageable :D

I really like the use of big leather panels without any seams that ruins the look, very nice!

This thread makes me feel more human.

I have coming:

-vintage Lewis leathers lightning variant (circa late 70's early 80's)
- Vanson ******** highway- 90's
-Vanson AR -90's ( I think)
-stone island - faux leather moto/ field jacket ( I hate that its faux but it still looks pretty cool and was cheap enough)

Someone get me electroshock therapy if I spend another dime on a jacket this year, but I'm stoked to receive all of these. Looking forward to seeing how they fit and how heavy the competition weight on the Vanson's is.

Cleared up jackets that took up a bunch of capital, they were cool but I no longer have a deep need to spend top dollar for rare labels.

Grabbed this one from Japan - advertised as a 1960s jacket so it came out to a reasonable price, even after shipping and import fees, as long as condition is fine.

Hello, has your jacket arrived? I'm very intrigued in how it feels, looks, and fits

Very few colimbo leather jackets impressions are available...
Jacket did arrive, the leather is impeccable and the lining also stands out, but unfortunately the fit isn't quite right, my first miss from MUshmans in that regard (have ordered 2 RC jackets from them previously), i just posted the jacket FS in the classifieds if anyone is interested
